Dim and I went out to look for a tree to cut down and we found a good one, but then we decided it might be a bit overambitious.
In Britain, there was long tradition of decorating houses with greenery at Christmas, but it was German members of the Royal family who brought the idea of bringing in a whole tree to decorate. In the old days, they had real candles on them, which we think is terribly dangerous!
